Holistic engineering is the process of studying all the aspects of certain model or website and trying to achieve the best in all these aspects. It ensures that the website is looking good while high performance, secure while not being user-annoying, doing the intended functionality while not sacrificing speed, social while maintaining its users’ privacy and scalable while not including very premature optimizations that do nothing but expand the project budget.
